Places Where To Buy Comic Books Online

The Hunt for Comics Has Changed
In the past, hunting for a certain comic book was very daunting. First, you were regulated only by your area. Second, you were regulated mostly by what your local comic dealers had in stock. Also, if your area didn't have an annual comic book convention, you were even more dependent on what your comic shop had and could supply.
Now the game has completely changed. With the internet and online comic book shops, it's now a tad more easier to find those key issue comics you want to add to your comic book collection. Here's a list of some of the best places on where to buy comic books online.
NewKadia
NewKadia is a huge online comic shop that claims to have over half million comics in stock. They have a large selection of comic back issues. Whether you're looking to buy DC comics online or Marvel comics, NewKadia has a variety of Silver Age, Bronze Age to Modern Age books.
NewKadia also has great discounts for their books, and you can often save up to 33% off of many higher valued key comic book issues. As I last checked, they had a Fantastic Four #1 at a low VG (VG-) in stock, and a few months back they had Amazing Spider-Man #1-10 (1st Series) in stock.
However, these in-demand key issues go fast, so delaying in getting them is a huge mistake. The down side to NewKadia is that they grade a tad bit liberally for my taste. As far as I know, they don't have any CGC graded books.
However, they are well worth checking out. I've bought gotten many great key issue books from them and was generally satisfied. Visit the link to get discount comics at NewKadia.
Mycomicshop.com
This is another huge comic book retailer online. They have their regular store, as well as run auctions and sell comic book consignments. It's a great place where you can find CGC graded key issues as well if you're worried about comic dealers over grading books.
Much like NewKadia, they have a great selection to buy DC Comics online, as well as Marvel in a variety of ages. Unlike NewKadia, they don't run as many discounts, and many of the in-demand older, key issue comics are going well over guide. Nevertheless, many of those in-demand comic books are going well over guide everywhere, such as Amazing Spider-Man #129 1st appearance of The Punisher.
Still many people love shopping at mycomicshop.com, and I haven't had a bad experience with them. If you're a fan of collecting comics or a comic book investor, mycomicshop is well worth checking out.
ebay.com
Ebay is the largest auction site on the web, so why did I put ebay.com last as a place to get comic books? Well, even though there are millions of sellers buying comics off ebay, a lot of those sellers really over grade comics or don't know how to grade comics.
Yes, it's still a problem, and many still complain about over paying books that were advertised as VF or NM and getting a VG+ to low fine comic books on ebay. No wonder CGC is making a killing these days.
Nevertheless, ebay has a ton of CGC graded books, and those are the ones I look out for. Many of the CGC graded key issues are going for crazy prices there, but every now and then you can get a great deal. You just have to hunt more on there.

Is Investing In Comic Books A Good Idea?
- Comic Book Collecting and Investing! A Good Idea?
Back in the day when I was a kid, comics were still kids stuff. Hell, even in my high school years and college years, I saw a lot of one time collectors abandon the hobby for more "adult" pursuits.

I agree with people over grading on ebay, i have purchased comics with tears, creases loose pages and even chunks missing from the cover still been sold as VFN or FN. I do sell on ebay http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/mark4740_0 and i have a little yola site http://comics-collectibles.yolasite.com I always tend to under grade as people always leave kind comments on how much better the book was than advertised, These people return to purchase more and this works for me.Nice little Hub Voted up
