The Ultimate List of Superhero Powers! What Superhero Power Would You Want?

So here's a question I ask quite a bit: If you could only have ONE super power, what would it be? It's a fun question, and it always gets a good conversation going, especially at bars. This list of super hero powers presented below are the powers most of people I've asked chose.

A lot of it's pretty shocking to me, as the more traditional super powers weren't even mentioned. However, at the end you can vote for which super power you'd most like to have, and let's see which is the ULTIMATE SUPER POWER that most people would want to have.

The superpower to bend time, manipulate it, and move through it to travel to the past, present, or future has made this list according to the pole below. I voted for this one as well, because this superpower would be just way too powerful.

Plus, it would be super cool to travel back in time and meet all your ancestors, even find out the truth about human evolution. Of course, if you're a villain, you could go back and change the past for your own self interests and prosperity.

A very cool and quite dangerous power. On this poll, it's the number one superpower to have...so far!

Wow, this is bit of a shocker. I wouldn't have guessed that this would be one of the more popular superpowers people would want, but according to the poll below it seems that people would like to be super strong like the Hulk, Thor, and Superman.

A pretty direct power, but still cool. However, this is just superhuman strength, and doesn't include a durability factor (measures of invulnerability) like the three characters mentioned above.

You're just really strong.

The super power to read people's minds was the next most popular according to my little fun research. I suppose everyone has thought about how cool it would be to read people's minds and know what they're thinking. I can remember I've thought about it a few times as a kid.

However, now, I think it would be a pretty annoying power to have, especially since the top reason why most people would want this super power is the same reason they'd want to have the ability to be invisible -

So they could find out what people really think about them!

However, the cool thing about telepathy is the ability to mentally communicate with others. You could save a lot of money on cell phone bills for sure.

This surprisingly is the 2nd most popular super hero power that most would want to have, and don't get me wrong, it's a cool power to have. You can pretty much be anywhere you want in a flash like everyone's favorite blue, fuzzy, mutant elf - Nightcrawler. Well, without the fuzz and without being blue.

And let's face it, there are a lot more possibilities with teleporting than there is flying, and a lot harder to track you down if you decide to use your powers for evil instead of good. I think those who chose flying forgot about how teleporting could get you there faster, and you don't have to worry about airfare and passports as well.

Top reason why most choose the super power of teleportation? They saw the movie "Jumper." Uhmmm...alrighty then.

Alrighty, here's where the fun really begins. Of course, this list of super powers is from my findings on the survey I conducted in a short time span. That means that the conclusions are hindered by time limit and confined to my general area since I can't teleport nor fly (bummer).

So, let's really find out what's the most popular super power to have, and I'm really surprised no one I've come across has said super human strength or super speed (the most traditional of super powers ever!)
